book launch and panel discussion:
Edited by Werner Rügemer and published in October 2009
Wednesday 18 November 20 at Club Voltaire Clock, Small Hochstr. 5
Not only low-wage and Hartz IV are injustices. Also, the further violation of labor and social rights is in the neo-oriented society for systemic practice is legalized in the continuous injustice. The system of work-related people: workers, unemployed or Retirees and their families - that is, the majority of the population - are not as equal citizens, their poorly paid and often disenfranchised labor relations are made invisible, they are of government, enterprises, political parties and mainstream media as second rate, even unnecessary treatment.
The types of employment injustices are manifold: "yellow" trade unions, the prevention of Works Councils set up, suspect cancellations, time theft, continued temporary, unpaid "internships", secret surveillance, misuse of one-euro jobbers for commercial use or bullying - the list could be on and on. With the crisis of neoliberalism and the excessive allocation of state funds to rescue banks dubious also threatens the tightening of labor injustice. However, it is hoped that germs develop resistance and alternatives to a national and international counter-movement.
Rügemer Werner will present the figure recorded by his band, the authors make from trade unions, academia and initiatives, a comprehensive survey. Elmar Wigand and Harald Stubbe be an example of the operating structures, working conditions and forms of confrontation with Eurest / Compass Group take a closer look and discuss with the participants of resistance perspectives.
On the podium: Werner Rügemer (Business Crime Control), Elmar Wigand (co-writer), Harald Stubbe (Works, IWW)
