I've seen the much-anticipated speech today in Mubarak's n-tv television live.
The 82-year old Mubarak, who looks for his age very well and mentally very fresh seemed disappointed with his flowery speech greatly. I was under the impression that he live in his ivory tower, has not understood that the Egyptian revolution is for him and that he is regarded as the main evil in Egypt.
seemed totally incomprehensible to me have also killed in his speech that he would have punished those people, the demonstrators. He described the Egyptians perished in demonstrations as a martyr, which for its a good thing died. Their death was not in vain. - Mir Mubarak appeared at this point completely caught up in disregard of the true conditions.
From his resignation was not mentioned. He would not let itself beset by foreign countries. Mubarak clings to power and continue to flout the will of the people. -In my opinion this was a fatal mistake .--- Peter Bröll
